Emma Sipora Tyler

is a Black biracial theatre artist based in Chicago, IL. Originally from Minneapolis, MN, Emma holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. Emma is passionate about accessibility and representation in the arts. She has recently been exploring those passions through multiple different theatrical mediums including writing and dramaturgy. Most recently, she was the assistant dramaturg for brother sister cyborg space (Raven Theatre). She has also worked with Steppenwolf Theatre as a script supervisor and in a temporary position as their Literary & Casting Associate. Professional theatrical credits include Emma (Lifeline Theatre), The Tempest (Oak Park Festival Theatre), and Caroline, or Change (Firebrand Theatre). In addition to her artistic work, Emma is the Program Coordinator for Artspace Immersion - a program that empowers arts and cultural organizations as they navigate the real estate market.
